About the Event

Join us in a session of brilliant contortion, tension, and dance with the incredible dancer that is Bryant Pineda from Mexico City.  Dubbed the "human pretzel" for his imitable poses of twists and contortion, get ready to be challenged with some Egon Schiele-esque poses and angular shapes that jut in and out on your page!  This session is open to all abilities, from the absolute beginner to the seasoned drawer.  We encourage you to experiment, have fun and express yourself as this is an untutored session - we leave you to your own devices!

Pose breakdown:

5 x 1 minutes

5 x 2 minutes

3 x 5 minutes

1 x 10 minute

BREAK (5-10 minutes - voluntary show and tell of one and another's artworks)

3 x 15 minutes

About 2B Or Not 2B Collective:

2B Or Not 2B Collective is a BIPOC run life drawing group based in London (UK) with an international audience, and our objective is to uplift marginalised and underrepresented models whilst unifying different communities through art. We focus on fostering new connections, artistic development as well as mental wellbeing.

Since coming online, we’ve been sponsored by Lululemon in their Keep Going '21 Campaign, featured in Griff’s live stream from Tate Modern, and currently have partnerships with the NHSUAL and Bafta nominated animation studios such as Cartoon Saloon to name a few.

We’ve featured all types of models from BIPOC, trans, plus sized, models with visible disabilities, to acrobats, dancers and have raised money for numerous charities such as MindImpact Lebanon and The Trussel Trust.

Our online sessions are and always have been pay-what-you-can to make art accessible to all, and we donate half of everything we make in our online sessions to our models to support them.

We have sessions every week:
