For this session, we are going to try a participatory meeting. Awhile back in another group we were asked to form haikus for a session, and we thought, how about doing something like this to introduce people to our works?
So please bring along one or two works of yours (past/present) to the meeting (or use the padlet), you can also either screenshare or hold it up, and tell us about it in a haiku*.
We'll only spend five minutes or so on each person's piece (allowing for responses and questions), as we only have an hour for the meeting, but please be aware the meeting may over-run this time. If you could then share them on the padlet afterwards, it'd be great to see what everyone comes up with, and anyone who can't make the meeting can also share theirs there too.
*Haiku (or hokku) A Japanese verse form most often composed, in English versions, of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables. A haiku often features an image, or a pair of images, meant to depict the essence of a specific moment in time.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
Kat
ps if you don't have access to the Padlet and/or would like to be on the email list please send a message to either me, Kym, or Steve and we will add you in.
