What you will do in the workshop 

Experiment with the process of starting an abstract painting and using your own painted  collage to incorporate into it. The collage can be used together with other materials to  make an abstract or semi-abstract mixed media piece. 

This is an introduction to the process, an opportunity to play and experiment. It is  unlikely there will be enough time to produce a finished piece of work. As with all  painting processes there are infinite ways of going about things and much is trial and  error! The workshop is about exploring techniques for ongoing development.
