Join Photography tutor Andrea Norrington online on Tuesday 11th June at 5pm for a workshop exploring how to make books out of work in progress.
Ever wondered what to do with a pile of scrap prints or art work. Or maybe you have a pile of print outs from research or essays.. You may be a writer with ideas on scraps of paper or a photographer who has small prints and not sure what to do with them.
Come along to this workshop for ideas on what you can do with this paper.
This session will show you how to make two styles of books with techniques that can be utilized to make use of works in progress and/or research materials that you may have.
Places are limited on the live session but if you prefer, you can just watch the event and then make yours later.
No previous experience is required.
Materials needed:
● Surface to cut on (cutting mat or similar)
● Cutting knife - Stanley type knife or scalpel and should have a retractable blade. It is possible to use scissors if you don’t have a knife
● Ruler (metal is needed if using a knife)
● Pencil
● Awl or needle/pin
● Thread, scrap wool or string plus a sewing needle (with eye big enough for your chosen
