A relaxed discussion and viewing of the latest Contemporary British Painting Prize exhibition at Huddersfield Art Gallery with Dr. Narbi Price.
Narbi is an OCA painting tutor and was the winner of The Contemporary British Painting Prize in 2017. We’ll think about the themes emerging from the show and consider the exhibition in relation to its significance as a barometer of painting in the UK right now.
Potential discussion points could be:

- Open call exhibitions as a model
- Is there a character to ‘British’ painting?
- Size versus scale in painting
