Keeping up Momentum - Lines, Squiggles and Webs
A two-part workshop with Carla Rees and Helen Rosemier
The next two-part Keeping up Momentum workshop, led by OCA’s music programme leader Carla Rees, will snack on a sensory smorgasbord of auditory and visual stimulation, playing with ideas of time and memory, repetition, patterns and improvisation. We’ll investigate visual responses to music and make sounds to work alongside images, exploring the fine line between chaos and coherence.
There will be exercises, cross-disciplinary breakout groups and a mini-project to work on, in teams, between the two sessions. These Keeping up Momentum events provide a great opportunity to connect and collaborate with other OCA students and to be inspired and motivated by new ideas and experimentation. Be prepared to be playful!
The first session runs on Zoom from 10am to approx 12.30 on Saturday April 30th and the second from 10am - 12.30 on Saturday May 28th.
To book a free place on these two sessions please add your details to this registration sheet. You will need to be logged in to your OCA account to edit the sheet.
Keeping up Momentum is a student-led initiative to inspire, motivate and connect. It is open to all OCA students - any course, any level.
