Listening Session - Extenuating Circumstances

Occasionally you may encounter circumstances that disrupt your ability to study and need to apply for more time, or a break from studying, to help you get back on track. Join the OCA Learner Support Team and ask questions related to extenuating circumstances.

The student voice feedback did note response times are not ideal, and we receive a large volume of queries about how to get an extension. In response to this:

• -we've built some of this information into the new induction to raise early awareness
•  there are examples and guides on the Handbook to help
• -we'd love to hear from students about how we can improve this to free up time for other areas of support
