About the Event
Much of your learning at university is through independent study, requiring you to organise your time effectively. Improved organisation and time management will enhance your clarity of thought, allowing you to work more efficiently around a structure that’s bespoke to you and your learning style.
In this session, you will:
- Reflect on how you currently organise your day, week and months across an academic year
- Discover simple ways to restructure your schedules and reduce fatigue by improving your work/life balance
- Learn how to organise your tasks, anticipate the unplanned and maximise your time throughout the week
- Have a greater understanding of what we mean by time perception and be introduced to strategies that allow you to manage time better
From daily planning strategies and Pomodoro techniques to larger-scale assignment management, the session will give you an understanding of what solutions are out and how they can work best for your learning working style and course dynamic.
