Narrative Textiles

Join Ailish Henderson, former student at the OCA to learn how to use your own story to develop your artwork. Now a published author, Ailish uses mixed media and stitch and connects these with the concept of the narrative. It is her belief that both positive and negative life situations and experiences can be used for the good - used as fuel to develop creative outcomes. She will lead you to use your own resources with your own backstory. She will begin with a slideshow and short lecture, effectively her book Narrative Textiles come to life. • A table large enough to spread out your collage material and paints

• Reference photographs of your subject
