OCA ArtScientific: Artist talk: Pratibha Mistry

ArtScientific is delighted to welcome Pratibha Mistry for our first artist talk this year. 

She is a scientist, working as a cellular biologist, and also an award winning artist working with glass. 

"Mistry’s delicate work is informed by her laboratory research and in tissue and sub-cellular morphologies, while her current work is focused on tumour pathology. Mistry sculpts glass, using kiln, cold, and casting techniques to create pieces that explore “the detailed infrastructure of our bodies, as well as the sinister beauty of detrimental transformations”.
