Drawing the Imaginary Space of the Film Scene.

Join OCA tutor Justine Moss in this workshop where we will extend and adapt a scene from your favourite film, and reimagine ourselves inside the filmic space, through drawing.

We will use drawing, through a series of timed exercises, to explore and extend a scene from your favourite film. Mise-en-scène — the physical setting of an action (as of a narrative or a movie).

Equipment

Before the session chose one film still to work from, something that has a lot of visual information, a foreground object and detail in the background (I do this by taking a photograph of a film as it is playing on my computer)– print it out or have it visible on screen.
