Is it important to you that the interpretation of an artwork is the same as the artist’s intent?
Join us for Poetics of Presence with Icelandic painter Thordis Adalsteinsdottir
Together we’ll explore interpretation, sensuous experience, and the space between an artist’s intention and the viewer’s personal reading of the work. Inspired by Susan Sontag’s Against Interpretation, this session invites open discussion, questions, and reflection on how we experience art.
