OCA Lisbon 2023 Study Event

Introduction

This visit sets a dynamic study space for international and national OCA students across Art and Design to come together to experience and engage with the space and place of Lisbon. A multicultural, multi - faceted unique city, that will appeal to fine artists, creative arts, designers, textile and music students alike at any level of study. Lisbon is culturally very rich with great museums, galleries and places that do span all interests.

Michele Whiting has many years experience of Lisbon and Cascais (both in terms of working and living) Diana has curated two international exhibitions there.

We will be based in Cascais, which is 40 minutes from central Lisbon by train. The seaside town is beautifully situated, and is home to Casa das Historias, a museum dedicated to the work of Paula Rego (and Victor Willing). We will be going to different areas of Lisbon, including across the…
