About the Event
Join the OCA North Group to visit to The Contemporary British Painting Prize 2024 in Sheffield.
Joanna Whittle will be joining us for this event. She is an OCA tutor and in 2019 was the prize winner of the CBP. We’ll be meeting at the gallery, which is in Sheffield city centre just a six minute walk from the train station. Joanna will lead a study event at the CBP prize including a discussion on the selection process and judging of the prize. We will then head over to the Millennium Gallery which is nearby. We will have some lunch in the café there then look at the Acts of Creation exhibition on there with a general discussion about the exhibition and the works.
