OCA Photography Social Group: With Catherine Smith

We are pleased to welcome fellow photography student Catherine Smith to speak to us on Wednesday 11th February at 18:30 GMT. 

Level 3 Photography student Catherine will be discussing her self directed project undertaken for the 2.3 Digital Imaging and Visual Culture unit.

Through a found collection of undocumented and unlabelled family photographs salvaged from a house clearance in the UK, Catherine spent a year cataloguing, researching and responding to the archive.

She will share her discoveries and the work that emerged from the process along with the remarkable story of how one image, Photograph 44, became the key to unlocking and tracing the story of the Poynton's.
