OCA Student David Rodford: Artist’s talk

Level 3 graduating student David Rodford will be in conversation with Dr Bryan Eccleshall on Tuesday 7th March 2023 6.30 – 7.30pm. All welcome.

David’s work uses subtle formal re-presentations of consumer waste – literally recasting it as something to be considered.

The work at first affords us clean lines and crisp compositions, but the dusty surface of the plaster and the potential bathos of the cast objects themselves imbue the work with a gentleness and humanity that seem to be saying something very quietly about our fallibility and its impact on the planet we rely on.
