OCA Student Sonia Boening: Artist’s Talk

OCA Painting graduating student Sonia Boening. will hold an informal conversation with Dr. Bryan Eccleshall on 21.03.2023. All welcome.

On the island, Sonia assists the ocean to make its marks on large, raw canvases, which are left overnight in the ocean. 

Back in her studio in Munich she works with pigments, seasand, powdered shells and ash from driftwood reflecting on the boundlessness and infinity of her element, the ocean and blue, especially ultramarine.
