OCA Student Talk: Annalisa Mercuri

Join Annalisa Mercuri for a presentation and discussion of her BA Hons Painting graduating work. 

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.

My work exploits different approaches to investigating the fragility and impermanence of our existence, as well as that of the ecosystem. Material properties are used to confer to the work the same qualities of the subject, shifting the focus from what the artwork represents to its message. In my work I explore and research the liminality, memory, archival, duration, time, and space of these fragilities.
