About

The OCA TV Group is primarily a photography group (at all levels) but does have members who are studying drawing, painting and graphic design. We encourage interaction across disciplines. Our regular members are drawn from locations around the South of England, London and the home counties .

Activity

October’s meeting has been confirmed. We are having a Tutor led meeting this month with Jayne Taylor in attendance. Please bring work in progress for advice and discussion. If you don’t have work to bring, perhaps there is something you are struggling with on your course that discussion could clarify.

The agenda for this month will include:

10:00 - 10:30 Arrival, introductions and coffee.

10:30 - 11:00 Review of the programme for the rest of the year including  tutor-led meetings. (If there are any other matters or suggestions for  student led events or visits, please give him advanced notice if possible.)

11:00 - 12:45 Following this initial discussion, each delegate will be  allotted a time slot for presentations and discussion so that the meeting  progresses with equal time available to all members.

12:45 - 13:30 Lunch

13:30 - finish. Presentations and discussion

This is a funded event so numbers will be limited to 12 students to allow time for sufficient Tutor interaction and to ensure that we can maintain a degree of social distancing within the room. Let Richard know if you  change your plans so that he can offer your place to another student.

All OCA Students are welcome to attend. We have to pay for the room hire. A contribution of £10 per student is required. This amount allows us  to build a small fund to subsidise meetings with low attendance. Bring  cash on the day and a contribution (monetary or otherwise) for the tea,  coffee and biscuit fund. Bring your own lunch (there is a convenience  store 5 minutes walk away, or you can drive to Tesco in a few minutes). If you are planning to travel by train, please contact one of the other  members to organise a lift to the venue. If you will be travelling through Farnham or Liphook en route and would be happy to collect fellow students from the station, please make contact.
