Open Study Event: Artists and Writers Routines

In this sample OCA session we will focus on how artists from different disciplines, including authors, illustrators, and even graphic novels use routine as a way of developing and expanding their creativity.

We’ll explore how routine supports creativity, even in times of low motivation and low inspiration, and how we can apply elements of famous artist's routines to our own work.

We'll learn about different famous artists and how they channelled their creativity through routines, and how we can develop our own creative routines to write or create art.

This session will be run by OCA tutor Rab Ferguson, who is also an award-winning children’s author with his own daily writing routine!
