About the Event
We will begin with a chance to view Sandra Ketteridge's degree show exhibition of painting. Sandra will share her research with the group and we can discuss our own responses to nature and the environmental crisis. Tutor Emma Drye will then lead a discussion around undertaking a degree in a creative subject, drawing together experiences and perspectives.
OCA Photography Tutor Les Monaghan is also exhbiting at Fox Gallery and has agreed to give us a run through of his work; Aspirations10.
In 2014 photographer Les produced 76 portraits of people at Highwoods Community Base and what was then, Mexborough School.
In each portrait a young person sits next to their parent or carer in a location that is shaping their aspirations. The young person's aspiration for the future is written under their feet. Under their parent or carer's feet is the aspiration they had at the young person’s age. The older person is…
