SVF25: A space for Imagination: Working with/from/through objects

Fine Art Programme Tutor Hayley Lock invites you to bring one or more curious objects to this workshop to work with, through or from. This session will start with a short visual presentation to give a little context to the session and topic, then it will be very much about seeing what the imagination can bring to these objects creatively in the two hours set. 

It might be that you may summon up near and distant memories from the energies held within these objects, or you may want to think about the texture, form, warmth or material of your object as a means to stimulate new work.  It is hoped that this workshop will give you space to think more closely about our interactions and extended relationships between subject and object, evoking an intensity of feeling that is perhaps less linguistically expressible, yet creatively a rich space for working with…
