SVF25: OCA’s Cabinet of Curiosity – A Collaborative Workshop

Join us for a creative and thought-provoking workshop designed to help you take part in OCA’s Cabinet of Curiosity, a collaborative online gallery that brings together personal stories through everyday objects.

You’ll be invited to choose and photograph a personal artefact and write a short story (under 200 words) about its meaning. This is your chance to contribute to a collective storytelling project that explores identity, memory, culture, and connection.

Storytelling is a powerful tool for making meaning—it helps us share knowledge, provoke thought, and build community. In this session, we’ll reflect on how ordinary objects can become extraordinary: as historical artefacts, emotional triggers, or provocations for deeper learning. We’ll ask how they speak to issues of inclusion, access, and diversity, and how their meaning can shift depending on context.
