Desaturate and glow! Mixing and manipulating greys with confidence with OCA tutor Jane Frederick on Tuesday 16 December, 6-8pm.

In this practical 2-hour workshop, you will explore the exciting potential of working with a palette of greys in combination with purer hues.
1. DISCUSS: What is colour desaturation and how have other artists explored it in their painting?
2. DEMO: How to mix greys, identify values and manipulate colour intensity
3. PRACTISE: Mixing greys and exploring the optical effect of colour temperature
