Welcome to our student led Circular Library. By encouraging reuse and reducing consumption, the circular library aim to minimise waste and environmental impact by offering a book exchange between members. Please note if choose to participate in this group you agree to the group rules - you can find them in the about section.

Be respectful of others’ privacy
Being in this group depends on our trust of one another. By participating in the Circular Library you are agreeing to share address details with senders. If you do wish to keep your information private there are a number of methods: You can use a PO Box, Poste Restante, or a virtual address to receive mail in the UK without giving your address. PO Box A PO Box is a locked box that you can use to receive mail and packages You can apply for a Royal Mail PO Box online Some companies won't deliver to a PO Box Poste Restante You can choose a Post Office branch to collect your mail from Mail posted in the UK is kept for up to 18 days Mail posted from overseas is kept for 21 days Virtual address You can use a virtual address to receive mail online You can forward your mail to anywhere in the world You can read and manage your post online UK Postbox UK Postbox offers a free PO Box option You can pay for the mail you receive You can read and manage your post online You can forward your mail to anywhere in the world
No sales or spam
No selling to or spamming other members is allowed in this group. Anyone who does so will be subject to immediate removal.
Listing your books
List your books with their condition or purchase history - new/second hand etc, add a photo. Items are sent as seen.
Shipping
Mention your location as part of your listing, check if any import duties or fees apply if you are international. If you are a 'buyer' outside of the UK remember the shipping cost will need to include customs, tax etc. Display your shipping price and method of posting in your listing. Agreeing the 'sale'
Invoice promptly and communicate with your 'buyer', give realistic expectations for delivery and update if this isn't achievable. Retain your postage receipt. We recommend you use Paypal Goods and Services, other types of payment may be unprotected. Edit and Update posts when books are no longer available. OCA and OCASA are not responsible for transactions.
Expressing interest in a book
All interest and questions on a listing should be posted in the comments of the listing and not via private message.
