The recording of Dr Lucy Soutter's informative talk about recent changes in the world of art photography is now available on The Photography Social Group Padlet

Lucy is in the process of revising her book Why Art Photography for the third edition, and shared some of the key ways photography has changed since the previous edition. This wide ranging talk touched on how we define photography, the impact of AI, and interdisciplinary practice, all using the work of contemporary photographers from around the globe to illustrate her thoughts.

She mentioned another book she edited, The Routledge Companion to Global Photographies,  which is freely available to download here.

Marc talked about how he starts a project, how he makes technical decisions to ensure his series are consistent and how research influences his work. Marc talked about making zines along the way, and gave advice about how to go about doing that to a professional standard.

Marc is extremely enthusiastic about his work, really easy to listen to and his talk was full of practical advice.
