Very interesting visit. The exhibitions were incredibly different from each other and it was very hard to make comparisons. I wondered whether the winner was actually receiving a lifetime achievement award rather than being best in show? It was great to hear different views from the other attendees. My first visit and had a great day. Really nice to see an alternative perspective (I am not a photographer).
And re a discussion about the use of collage and photography that some of us had. Off I went to Life drawing this morning to find an exhibition next door that was just that. It probably isn't clear from the images that many of them were printed on aluminium which gave an extra interest to the surface.
