ArtScientific Newsletter no.5 27/03/2022
Hello!
Thanks so much to Nuala Mahon for sharing work from her project Leave No Visible Trace (Level 3 Photography: Sustaining Your Practice), with us today, and to all who attended.
Nuala's presentation took us through her investigations into plastic waste, both domestic and ocean-borne. There were experiments in sustainable photographic developers, handmade papers, and making equipment - such as pinhole cameras, from everyday objects. Nuala will be exhibiting on Sherkin Island, where she lives, at a local community hall, where she hopes to be able to have audience engagement with workshops, and to also extend her exhibition outside at one of the beaches on the island.
Hopefully all members on the email list should have the link to the presentation, and it has now been added to the Art Scientific Padlet - if you have any problems accessing it, please let me know.
If you get a chance to watch the video, please do leave comments and questions for Nuala on the padlet, as she is seeking critique/advice/questions.
Would you like to show us your work (in the form of a presentation or any other way that can be seen online)? Have you had an idea for a meeting and/or would like to have a go at hosting? Please get in touch with either me, Steve M, or Kym, and we can help you with that!
Hello, I am not sure if I am on the email list or have the Padlet access, how can I get this?
