I was at Anna's talk last night on Alice Neel. I have thoroughly enjoyed her presentations, even when the artist in question was very well known to me, which in this instance was not the case.
I see that there is only one more in the pipeline - is that to be the last of the series Joanne? I hope not.
What I feel is needed though are follow up discussion meetings. It is sometimes very difficult to articulate any questions at the end, even when there has been plenty of time to do so, and I have always been left with wanting to discuss aspects of the artist's work (or life) and had no one to direct my thoughts at but my bewildered husband!

Hi Patricia, the good news is we have six more before the end of the academic year, I'm just waiting on our advertising squares then we'll push them live for sign up. I understand what you mean, you need time to digest and reflect sometimes, I think about this a lot but I'm unsure how best to approach it. We could have a designated group for this series maybe and I can pop the recordings in there, it sort of relies on people engaging in discussion but we could certainly try.
