For some reason I cannot create an event, so here are the details for this month's SERG meeting Monday 16th May 2022, 7pm to 9pm:
This month we will be welcoming Derek Trillo, OCA Photography Tutor, to the SERG virtual sofa. Derek will be helping us to improve how we photograph our artwork.
Please send in your images of your attempt/s to photograph your artwork to liz515728@oca.ac.uk
Some materials are more tricky than others to photograph, in particular reflective surfaces, and some colours and patterns can be problematic too. Maybe it is the scale of your artwork you are having difficulty capturing, or maybe the lack of a studio space to photograph your work in.
There are many obstacles and challenges with this subject so please do send me your examples via email or post them to the SERG padlet (https://oca.padlet.org/liz515728/l952us89drcxbyxl - 4th column) and Derek will help us all to achieve the best results we can.
Please also feel free to forward these details to anyone studying with OCA who you think might be interested. Even though it's a SERG led meeting all are welcome.
