Fancy using a glue made from potato starch that doesn't come in a plastic tub? The brand is called Coccoina and is Italian. It is stocked at various retailers if you do an online search. Replace the little brush with your own if you are vegan as apparently it is made from pig hair.

Emma, I am shocked! If's not a matter of replacing a brush made from a murdered pig with your own. Being less cruel means not buying brushes made from murdered sentient beings in the first place. Also it's easy enough to make your own starch glue.
