Colour made from foraged plants and minerals
Last week I went on a great residential course run by Lucy and Edward from Old Mill Arts. https://www.oldmillarts.com
We made pigments, inks, paints, pastels, crayons, charcoal, tools and clay paint pots. The image below is the poster sheet I filled in during the week with all the samples we made.
If you are ever able to go on one of their courses I would recommend it. They are based in Scotland, UK but they travel around. The course I did was just north of Scarborough and organised by North Yorks Art School.
