Hello members,
At the last meeting we agreed to support a study event at Huddersfield Art Gallery which will take place on Saturday (instead of the usual Sunday) 7th of January 2023- A show by OCA tutor Richard Baker called "Between Presence and Absence". His informal talk and discussion will start at 2pm. See event for details.
There is another exhibition on in the same large room called "Entwined" with many paintings of different styles relating to plants by prominent contemporary painters. Two have poems associated with them by Harriet Talo and Ian Macmillan.
Please sign up and come along we would love to see you, Not only is it an opportunity to experience creative work in the flesh, hear an artist talk in person and with a chance to ask questions but also to meet fellow students.
There is parking nearby in the Kingsgate Centre and the station is a short walk, Huddersfield town centre is not very big.
This event will replace the online meeting scheduled for the following day 8th January.
