OCA-North meetings will recommence on Sunday 10th of April in person at Dean Clough Mills, Halifax HX3 5AX. We plan to meet every month and alternate meetings will be by zoom.
To allow people time to travel, meetings will start at 1pm and finish around 4pm. For those who arrive early we will gather in the Weaver Rooms café next door to Crossley Gallery from 12md onwards. The café is usually open 10-3 on Sunday's.
Meetings will usually be held in Fletcher's Mill, on the ground floor where there are toilets and a kitchen attached. Reception staff in Crossley Gallery will point you in the right direction. Their telephone number is 01422 250250. Website www.deanclough.com. where you will find a site map.
There is free parking outside Fletcher's Mill and Crossley gallery at the weekend.
If you have not been to OCA-North meetings before you are welcome to come and check us out and hopefully join in. Our aim is to provide mutual support and learning opportunities. The first meeting on the 10th of April will be informal for introductions and conversation. You are welcome to bring any OCA work or questions you are pondering for discussion in a 'Show and Tell 'section. Some future meetings will have tutor support.
A link to the zoom room and a shared folder on G drive to add your work for discussion will be sent to you when we have online meetings, the first will be on Sunday 8th of May at 1pm. You just need to join the group and sign up to the individual meeting once it is advertised with a join up button.
