Online Active Bystander Workshop - Wednesday 15 Feb 2023
At the Open College of the Arts we aim to provide a learning and teaching environment in which all members of our community feel safe and respected. As an online and distance learning institution the majority of behaviours will manifest themselves in virtual, online, social media or other remote forms of communication.
The workshop with Glitch introduced our learners and staff to the role of an Online Active Bystander and supported us to identify actions to address harmful online behaviours and support victims of online abuse. It was a fantastic training opportunity, delivered in a friendly and professional manner.
