Reducing setbacks
Hi, I started Painting Degree in June. I absolutely love it, best thing I ever did! However, I feel the number of setbacks (chronic pain) I'm having is increasing: the pain becomes overwhelming and I 'waste' daysand days feeling really miserable. I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that I can't paint as I'd like to (bigger and bolder, more freely). I am trying to paint within my health limitations now but I feel this window is getting smaller and smaller as the pain is always threatening to get worse. Has anyone else, perhaps further on in their course, had this experience, and how have you managed it psychologically?

Hi there, I have found learning to meditate by using an app has really helped me accepting my limitations and managing the pain , I didn’t ever think I could learn to meditate but it’s called practice for a reason . I also have found painting my pain helps .
