OCA alumna Laura Mohapi has been developing a project, We The Human, A Quiet Blue Wall, and has set up a Community Interest Company to address the issue of suicide prevention for the community of diagnosed and undiagnosed neurodiverse.
The neurodiverse are the highest demographic of those completing suicide and struggling with suicidal ideation. Laura is neurodiverse and has been on the sharp end of living with neurodiversity in a society structured around neurotypical expectations.
Laura would love the OCA to be a part of the project. It is an Open Call for participants to paint a self-portrait. Find out more here:
